Carriers of memory, focuses on shrines and boxes containing human figures, interpreted as cabinets of curiosities or miniature memory theaters. These figures dwell spaces that simultaneously conceal and reveal them, inviting contemplation of their hidden narratives. The boxes were constructed from reclaimed wood and discarded furniture, found on the streets, and were meticulously decorated using trompe l'oeil techniques. The painted surfaces emulate marble, evoking the appearance of old church altars and reliquaries. This juxtaposition of everyday materials and elaborate finishes imbues the installation with a layered sense of mystery and significance.
